You have selected a lounge suite, upholstered with a beautiful, modern fabric that will serve you for many years under general, domestic wear. *

This fabric is made of a unique, technically enhanced chenille yarn. Chenille yarns have been used for many years in upholstery weaving for their characteristics of soft, luxurious handle. Through a unique technical process, they have just become softer and easy to maintain.

To help you enjoy your lounge suite, upholstered with EasyCare® fabric, we’ve created this special website, providing you guidelines for general care, cleaning tips and test results.

Characteristics:

It is a characteristic of chenille yarn (and other pile fabrics in general) that you get some shading. Shading is what you see when you softly move your hand or a light object over the fabric and the pile direction moves accordingly. This creates a different light absorption causing the fabric to look slightly lighter or darker. By continually sitting in the same place, you can increase this shading effect resulting in a clear mark where you usually sit. This is unavoidable, but you can minimise the effect by following the general care instructions (rotating cushions and ; not sitting in the same place each time all the time; lightly(!) brushing the fabric with a soft brush from time to time – see Easy Cleaning Tips).
